What you need to do
- Stay at home. Avoid going out at all costs unless you need to stock up on food.
- This doesn't apply to going to your front-yard/porch or backyard because nobody other than people who live with you pass by there (and if someone lives with you in the same house, there is no way to prevent spread of disease inside the house, just slow it a bit).
- If you are outside, keep at least 6 feet away from the person next to you (the farther, the better, as coronavirus can stick on surfaces for 2-3 days and air for hours).
- If you can, try getting food delivered to you. The same is true of groceries.
- Keep up with the news - the government may put a forced/mandated quarantine and you don't want to be caught out then.
- If you are sick, self-quarantine as soon as possible. Avoid contact with others.
- Get plenty of rest - this will keep your immune system strong enough to fight the virus, so you may not get sick.
- However, don't try to over-strengthen by taking a lot of immune-system strengthening pills or anything of the sort. While vitamins or elderberry gummies may minimally help you, don't try too hard to strengthen your immune system. It may just result in an overreaction of the immune system, which is never good for fighting coronavirus.
- The reason for this is because too much mucus sent by your body (due to overreaction) would cause much worse symptoms. You may just end up drowning in your own fluids. However, don't worry about this - it is still nevertheless rare, just be careful.

- Don't panic - panic is counterproductive.
- Also, WASH YOUR HANDS. That is by far most important.
- Wearing an N95 mask helps when going outdoors, but don't risk it. Instead, just stay at home and let the desperate nurses and doctors have it.
- Also, wearing a surgical mask may be useful too, but N95s are more effective.
